General Information

Leduc Public Library is a member of Yellowhead Regional Library (YRL),  The Regional Automation Consortium (TRAC) and Alberta Relais.

Residents of the City of Leduc and the County of Leduc may acquire a TRAC library card provided that proper identification such as a current driver’s license is shown.  Other ID may be accepted please ask staff for details.

To obtain a library card online or in your library, you must be 16 years of age. For those under the age of 16, or aged 16 - 18 without government issued ID with birthdate, we require that a parent or legal guardian come to the library to sign for the library card.

If you lose your library card please contact the library immediately to avoid the unauthorized use of your library card.

If you move or change your phone number or email please notify us as soon as possible in order to keep your file up to date.

To sign out items from our library, you must have your card present.

The following must be completed half an hour before we close: 

  • New library cards
  • Renewal of library cards
  • Any payments
