Computer access cards
Anyone is able to get a computer access card as long as you have one piece of ID showing your picture or two pieces without. If you are a library member you must be within good standing.Youth under 16 must have a parent or legal guardian give permission and sign our computer access form.
Guests, with ID, using our computers may do so twice without having a computer access card. If you are using our computers more than twice we will ask that you obtain a free computer access card.
The following must be completed half an hour before we close:
- New library cards
- Renewal of library cards
- Any payments
*Please note that our public computers close a half-hour before the library close.
One-on-one computer training sessions
Library staff provide 1 hour individual training sessions for new to novice computer users. All appointments must be booked with staff in advance . One-on-one sessions are available Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Please call the library at 780-986-2637 to check for staff availability.
Patrons may choose one of the following for their One-On-One training Sessions:
1) Basics of Computer
2) Basics of the Internet
3) Basics of email/Facebook/Twitter
4) Basics of Microsoft Word
5) eReaders—Staff will help patrons set up compatible eReaders so they can take library eBooks out on their eReaders.
