Inter-Library Loans & Holds

If an item in the TRAC catalogue is signed out to another patron, you may place a hold on that item.  To make such a request, you may:

  • Ask staff to place the hold or inter-library loan request over the telephone at (780) 986-2637
  • Place it yourself on our public catalogue station (if you don't know how, our staff are happy to assist)
  • Place it from home, over the Internet by visiting www.tracpac.ab.ca

Can't find an item in the TRAC catalogue? Alberta Relais is the new way to place Interlibrary Loans (ILL) in Alberta, brought to you by the Alberta Public Library Services Branch (PLSB). To access Relais, just go to alberta.relaisd2d.com and select Yellowhead Regional Library as your location.

Finally, if the desired item is not in either of the above-mentioned databases, our Inter-Library Loans Clerk has access to billions of books and articles from all over the continent. Our staff will be happy to fill out a materials request form for you and have the item brought to Leduc if possible.

Please note that if you order items through the Inter-Library Loans Clerk or The Alberta Library, they must be returned to Leduc
